Wedges of cheese! Cheeese!!!

Here down south it has been raining continuously since Friday. Which is awesome, since I love the rain, but it also meant I could not try out my new wedges (sebab takut basah masa keluar masuk kereta). Yes, I have given in to the gladiator fever and bought me a pair of strappy wedges, complete with buckles. Insane, I know, but it only cost 50 bucks. Only? *lol* I was actually looking for new work shoes since I am practically walking a hole in the current ones (dah la kasut hantaran kahwin *sobs*) but nowadays it seems impossible to find a decent black solid heeled round toed Mary Janes that cost less than 100 bucks (mine is Hush Puppy; he actually bought it for me for 300 bucks - it was worth the splurge back when it was for our wedding, but now it seems a bit extravagant). Am I cheap, or do only well-off people wear shoes like I do? Admittedly, I do have a problem with spending money on myself. Never on food or him, though I think he spends a lot more on me than I do him. Practically everything I'm wearing now are presents from him. Well, except maybe my baju kurung and Aries Gold watch, which were my mom's. I still go to her once in a while and beg for hand me downs *lol*.

How did this entry get from rain to shoes to hand me downs? I love my new shoes, but I don't think he does much. Actually, I don't think most men like gladiator sandals. When I asked him if it was pretty he answered in the affirmative but it may only be because he's afraid I might go berserk and hit him over the head with the wedges. I do that, sometimes, go berserk I mean. My husband, on the other hand, never goes crazy and thus is awesome. He is even awesomer than chocolate and brownies and kittens, and that is saying a lot.
