Just try to breathe

My life has the quality of a 'living weekeend to weekend basis' nowadays. Work is fine, but bland. Sometimes my mind wanders and I think I hear voices of people from my old office, which I miss daily. Back there, I knew who I could trust. People here are not untrustworthy (is that even a word? Maybe it's a Bushism) but I get the feeling everyone is looking after themselves first and foremost. It's tiring having to watch your back all the time.
